  Welcome to the

ARTICATZ VOLLEYBALL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

of the Upper Peninsula Michigan

 

The Articatz volleyball program is one we feel has a great deal to offer each athlete, we hope to show that Articatz is worthy of your commitment.  Over the past seven years we have been helping youth girls and high school volleyball players learn and enjoy the game of volleyball.  We plan to contiue our growth the season and build on the solid foundation that has been established in the previous years.  The expectations of the programs are: elite level of execution of basic skills, groom athletes for future contention for State Titles and prepare them for life off the court.  Since 2002 Coach Hruska has been coaching and training the area's youth and high school athletes to compete at the highest level.  In nine years Coach Hruska's program has been instrumental in providing 15 athletes an opportunity to continue their playing careers and education in college.

 2012 High School Volleyball

Development Programs

 

Articatz High School Volleyball Programs this Winter
POSITION TRAINING:  will focus on specifics for your position ie: footwork, armswing, movement
TEAM TRAINING: will focus on serve receive, defense and out of system situations
 
Position Training will begin January 14th, we will train Saturdays only.
Times:12-2pm
Location: Baraga Gym (Marquette Police Station Gym)
Session: January 14th til March 10th
Cost: $150 (it is about $15 per day)
 
Team Training will begin March 17th
March 17th and March 24th (Saturdays)
Times: 12-2pm
~ on March 30th we will start to train Fridays instead of Saturdays (6-8:30pm)
Location: Baraga Gym (Marquette Police Station)
Session: March 16th til June 1st
Cost: $200
 
You are welcome to do one of the training there isn't a requirement to do both to be apart of this program.

2012 Winter Youth Volleyball Program

 

Starting dates for the
"YOUTH VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM"
Our "Middle Diggers" (5/6th)
January 13th thru February 24th 
and
"Junior Spikers" (7/8th)
 January 13 thru March 23rd

The Middle Diggers and Junior Spikers
Location: Baraga Gym (in police station)
Days: Fridays
Times: 6-7:30pm ~ Middle Diggers
Times: 7-9:00pm ~ Junior Spikers

I understand that it is not the most convenient for some parents,
but we are limited in facilities due to the overwhelming use of gyms.
I promise the travel is worth the training your daughter(s) will gain.
