The Delta Elite Volleyball Club, in this our first season, is intended to service the female athletes of Delta County, Michigan, who wish to improve their fundamental volleyball skills, to have a great time with other great athletes, and to explore their options for funding their college educations through collegiate volleyball.
Currently, we are sponsoring one team in the 17 and under age bracket. Female athletes that are 18 and in their senior year of high school are welcome to practice with us but are not eligible for competition. We hope to expand in the future to include a younger age group as well, though gym availability is currently a limiting factor.

Bron Harmon has been actively involved in volleyball since she was 15. Having played in high school and college, coaching was the next logical step. She has coached at the middle school, freshman, junior varsity, and varsity levels; led or helped with many clinics and summer camps; was an assistant coach to Tracy Hruska within the Articatz VBC; and continues to play in her spare time. Her family graciously understands her passion for kids, coaching, and volleyball and actively supports her continued participation in the game.
Team Representative Jackie Nyenhuis, Gladstone
Jackie Nyenhuis is an active volleyball parent who is willingly volunteering her time to help this program in any way possible. She is currently doing all of the scheduling and paperwork for this young club.
Basic Information
This club is a member club of the North Country Region (region representative is Tracy Hruska of Marquette), a division of USA Volleyball. Membership in the region is required to participate in USAV sponsored tournaments and provides accident insurance for players and coaches in case of injury while participating with the club.

We will potentially compete in tournaments in the Minneapolis, Duluth, Green Bay or Waukesha, WI, areas. Tournament locations are determined by player availability. Our tournament dates will be in April and May.
