Tracy Hruska – 16’s Coach;
Has been involved with volleyball for over 20 years. A native of Chicago, she started her playing career in grammar school (4th grade). She trained with "Windy City", one of the top clubs in her area, for 8 years. Her high school program won Sectionals and Regional’s. Her Junior and Senior year she was chosen out of 258 players to participate in the Junior Olympics where she trained at the Olympic Training Center. Tracy was named to Volleyball Magazine's "FAB 50"list. This meant she was one of the top 50 recruits in the country. Tracy continued her career at the University of Colorado. During her career at Colorado she was part of two Big 8 Championships and 2 Sweet 16 appearances. She coached as an assistant at Florida International Univ., was the Head coach at Saint John's River Community College and until recently was the assistant and interim head coach at Northern Michigan University. She is the club director of the top premier program in the UP. Her program has helped many go on to compete at the collegiate level and she is determined to continue that reputation. |
